*** This car is SOLD. *** Presented in 1972, the completeley newly designed Mecedes-Benz luxury car series was the first to be officially called "S-Class" and showed numerous technical and safety innovations. The models with V-8 engine and a displacement of 4.5 liters were, including the much rarer 6.9 liter version, the summit of the new S-Class series. The car offered here shows the streched L-version (wheel-base extended by 10 cm) and represents very authentically that era, from the period-correct maroon-metallic painting combined with a cream leather interior to the fact that she has been with her second owner now for the last 29 years.
