*** This car is SOLD. *** This very well maintained and sound Mercedes 190 SL was acquired by its actual German owner in the U.S. at the end of the 80's, thus being with him for the last 20 years. Once in Germany, the car underwent a thorough and profound restoration carried out at impressive costs by a Mercedes-Benz subsidiary. This included for example a complete revision of the bodywork, ending up in a new painting and a hollow cavity insulation. All works are well documented by various bills and receipts, and since then, the 190 SL has always been pampered and driven only about 17.000 km. Equipment shows the original Becker tube radio, VDO clock, white wall tires and a SOLEX single carburetor. A set of original SOLEX dual carburetors may be acquired seperately. Painting, chrome, leather interior and soft-top are in very good condition. All in all a very solid, elegant and reliable beauty of the 50's, perhaps not in the perfectionist's eyes, but for the real 190 SL aficionado. Car comes with valid German M.O.T.
