*** This car is SOLD. *** Bentley's S 2 as well as Rolls-Royce's Silver Cloud II, both introduced in 1959, differed from their predecessors in just one, but essential characteristic: A newly developed V-8 light-alloy engine was installed, which did not only come on an already well-engineered level, but should be the basis for further developments for the following four decades. The particular left-hand driven S 2 presented here, with chassis no. B 48 LCU and painted in her original colours shell-grey over tudor-grey, features all values attributed to a Bentley S 2 and the new engine: Elegant design, luxurious interior and a drive unit which enables to move this heavy saloon in an even sporty way. This car has been in Germany since 1965 being with her actual owner now for ten years, who had made lots of improvement measures at impressive costs, such as substantial technical revisions, overhaul of engine, automatic transmission and braking system, new painting, new air condition, new interior, radio etc. During these years, the Bentley has not been driven for more than 30.000 km.
